I used bold shades of pinks and greens to create a faux watercolor technique taught by Nina. I also used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to achieve the look. I found that using a Mini Mister really helped. I stamped with the (now retired?) Build-A-Flower: Rose. One think I think I would change is to let the previous stamping dry before stamping another layer, as after a while, the watercolor paper was pretty saturated.
I trimmed the watercolor panel and then did a simple white heat embossed sentiment onto black paper, backed with a piece of vellum. The sentiment is from the Sentiment Strips Stamp Set.
I was really happy with the end result, I let the background shine. I think it looks like wallpaper, and would be so super sweet in a girl's room. I was really happy with the soft and dreamy nature of the panel.
Wow, Karen this is stunning! Beautifully done!
