Bright Rays

The Creative Thinking Release from Catherine Pooler Designs is quite fun, as is all the releases from them! Today's card showcases some items from the Bright Idea Bundle. My clean and simple card started with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base onto which I stamped a sentiment from Bright Days in Midnight Ink. I then created some light rays by coloring cardstock with Limoncello and Catching Rays. I splattered some water and then after drying, die cut the rays from the Sunburst Strips Cover Plate Die.

I then stamped and die cut one of the many lightbulbs from the Bright Days stamp set in Midnight Ink and die cut it with the corresponding Bright Days Dies. For a bit of added interest, I outlined the wires with a silver pen and colored in the base of the lightbult with the pen as well. For a final touch, I added some sequins from the versatile Crater Lake Sequin Mix.

This set is truly perfect for clean and simple cards, or technique cards too!
