Catherine Pooler Designs:: Make a Wish

The Make a Wish Release from Catherine Pooler Designs is almost here! Birthday Cards are some of my favorites to make and everyone needs some fresh birthday items for their crafty stash, right?!  The Make a Wish Release has some modern and trendy pieces for loads of fun. It also includes the second four Beach Retreat Inks in Sparkling Berry, Merlot, Clay Mask, and Serene! will be available Wednesday, July 14th for general release and Tuesday, July 13th for Stamp Nation Members.

I chose to work with the super cute Doxie Party Bundle from the Make a Wish Release because well, the stylized dachshunds were just too cute! My card started today with a card base made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, and I various width added strips of patterned paper from the fabulous Cupcakes & Candles Patterned Paper, part of the Make a Wish Release. I really like how these patterned paper packs from Catherine Pooler Designs gives you a coordinating color palette to work with!

I then added a portion of the Round of Happy Dies and a dachshund from Doxie Birthday Party Dies die cut from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. Isn't the pup adorable just die cut? So many possibilities! Onto the back of the dog, I stamped the word "friend" in Sparkling Berry from the the Big Happy Sentiments Stamp Set. This sentiment set is the perfect compliment to your birthday cards and will work with just about any birthday stamp set or product!

I finished the card by adding a stamped and die cut birthday hat from the Doxie Birthday Party Stamp Set and Doxie Birthday Party Dies in Juniper Mist and Lemongrass inks. I love how the Doxie Party Bundle from the Make a Wish Release can be used for both young and old, masculine or feminine birthday or celebration cards! Truly a versatile collection.
