Evergreens and Sky

 Catherine Pooler Designs is showcasing items from their next release, Winter Wonders! This winter related collection is all about the wonders of Winter-snowflakes, peaceful owls and evergreens perfect for scene building! Today I'm showcasing Evergreen Woods, a beautiful stamp set available in the Evergreen Woods Bundle. This set is a must have for scene building and/or creating an impact on a card with just a few impressions.

I was so keen on experimenting with scene building with this stamp set. For my card today, I created a sky by swiping Pink Champagne, Cove Blue, Stone Blue and Rose Petals directly across a panel. Then I used water to create some unique textures, like the blooming effect and some splatters. I love how this ink reacts with water! I then stamped the trees from Evergreen Woods in Midnight Ink, and drew in some trunks with a black pen.

I finished the card by die cutting the tree panel from the Dots and Scallops Border Dies, and stamped and die cut the greeting from the Cheerful Greetings Stamp and Die set. The small companion greeting is from the Winter Blessings Stamp Set.
