Watercolored Evergreens

Catherine Pooler Designs is showcasing items from their next release, Winter Wonders! This winter related collection is all about the wonders of Winter-snowflakes, peaceful owls and evergreens perfect for scene building! I'm showcasing Evergreen Woods, a beautiful stamp set available in the Evergreen Woods Bundle. This set is a must have for scene building and/or creating an impact on a card with just a few impressions.

My card started today by stamping the trees from Evergreen Woods onto wettened watercolor paper first in Sage, then in Spruce. I added some slim tree trunks to the trees and ground with a watercolor brush and Icing on the Cake Ink. A bit of sky was watercolored in using Cove Blue.

I then added a sentiment from Winter Blessings, trimmed down the panel and adhered it to a card base that was covered in Cove Blue ink using the direct ink to paper technique to create a custom, matching colored cardstock.

The third stamp to create the trees was stamped and heat embossed with Disco Ball Embossing Glitter by Wow.

I was able to create many cards in so many different styles with the Evergreen Woods stamp and die set...I can't wait to share them with you! Please check back for more inspiration the next few days!
