A "Crabby" Birthday

Are you always in the need for birthday cards? I am! One of the areas that I find difficult, and one that my card stash is severely lacking in, is cards for boys! I created this card today with my godson in mind.

I was first inspired by the colors from the Color Throwdown #597 Challenge. I went through my stash of products, and found that two patterned paper packs from Catherine Pooler Designs were a perfect fit! I let the patterns inspire the images, that being water and the cute lil' crab from Hook, Line & Sinker stamped in the fun Flirty Fuchsia Ink. The patterned papers I used were from the Peacock & Paisley Pack and Salt & Seaweed Patterned Paper Pack. I also used several other dies, listed below.

I finished the card with Chalk White Nuvo Drops and a sentiment from the Milestone Birthday Sentiment Mix Stamp Set stamped in Juniper Mist.
