You're Pawsome

If you are a pet-lover or have friends or family that are pet-lovers, then the Peeking Pets Bundle from the upcoming Let's Party Collection by Catherine Pooler Designs is the perfect bundle for you! I had such fun creating scenarios for these dogs and cats. The Peeking Pets Bundle is one of the many bundles to choose from this collection, which is available for order now for StampNation members and will be available for general order tomorrow, June 17th at 9am EST.

The Peeking Pets Bundle includes the Peeking Pets Stamp Set (and coordinating dies!), the fun Hipster Patterned Paper Pack, the Pawsome Word Dies, and many other items! I really wanted to showcase how well the patters in the Hipster Patterned Paper Pack work well together and made them the showcase of my card. 

I started with a cardstock base made with Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I trimmed a piece of the paw print paper to 4.25 x ~4.5 inches, then die cut the Pawsome Word Dies-there are two options in this die set. I adhered the panel to the card base, so the nice, which cardstock was showing through. It was easy to adhere the insides of the letters (like the fun paw print in the "o") as I was able to place the positive part of the die over the top to use as a guide. I used a piece of scrap Ultra Smooth White Cardstock and die cute the Pawsome Word Dies from that for the descenders of the word. This I colored with Juniper Mist Ink and adhered to the bottom half of the card base. I also stamped (many times!) one of the pups from Peeking Pets Stamp Set in Juniper Mist, like he's peeking up from the bottom. The MISTI was a great help for this!

I finished the card-and the sentiment- by stamping "You're" in Juniper Mist from the new stamp set, One Liners Sentiments. This is the most awesome of sentiment stamp sets, it's got pretty much everything you need for a sentiment! It is a perfect companion to any of the line word dies.

One thing I really appreciate about the patterned paper packs available at Catherine Pooler Designs -in addition to the always fun designs that coordinate with stamp sets, is that they list the colors of coordinating ink on their packaging. There is no guessing when it comes to what ink colors match the paper.
