Lucky
"Luck", in general terms, tends to be as good as it is bad. I'm fortunate that I have experienced both- to balance out my life.
Ted, from Happily Ever Crafter issued a Tribute to St. Patrick Color Challenge (sheesh, these colors scared me at first, Ted, but I am so happy with the way the card turned out!)...but it also called for the use of a three leaf shamrock. While on the hunt for one, I found these digital images from Paper Smooches, offered during their guest design contest. I don't think I've ever searched for a three leaf shamrock before making this card, but I have been a sucker to search for the elusive four-leaf clover...
I was also awarded this from Brandi at Yankee Belle Stamper. Thanks, Brandi! Brandi is so fun and talented...love what she does with PTI stamps. I'd like to give a shout out to a few other blogs that I've started to follow recently, these ladies are also so very talented!

Fabulous zingy colours Karen. Great placement of the sentiment panel, the shamrock & font are cool.
ReplyDeleteKaren, you nailed this card! And you're right...the colors go suprisingly well together, don't they? :) I love the composition of this card and the shamrock is perfect. Thanks for playing along with me this month!

ReplyDeleteLove these bright colors together... and while not not on a hunt for a 3 leaf clover, now at least I know where I can find one.
ReplyDeleteI like the "wake-up" colors Karen. And your search for a 3-leaf clover means less work for the rest of us!

ReplyDeleteI think this may be my favorite St. Patrick's Day card I've seen this year. I'm just not much of a fan of them: too much green. Your orange gives it the flair many others are missing. {imo} Nice!

ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Karen! Had to laugh at your comment about this color combo~~feel the same way. But, I think your card reflects them really well :o)
ReplyDeleteso fun! who knew a 3 leaf clover could bring as much of a smile as a 4 leaf one? (well, admittedly I did, as I love the zen they create when pulled from the grass....)
