2017 Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop
I was excited to sneak a moment in to create a card for the 2017 Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop. Watching my boys' baseball games and taking care of the garden pulls me away from my crafty area more than I'd like during the summer.
For this card, I started with a pale yellow card base stamped with a coffee ring and a few flowers. I then added a focal panel that was stamped with some blooms and foliage from Super Sponsor's Lil' Inker Designs Best Blossoms Stamp Set and the coffee ring from Skipping Stones Designs Funny Coffee Vol. 1. I added a stamped and die cut coffee mug from Lil' Inker Designs Latte Love Stamps and Latte Love Die Cuts. I then added a die cut sentiment and finished with a coordinating stamped sentiment from Whoops.
I even stamped the inside! Thanks to the coordinators and design team of the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop, I know it is a ton of work, and hard work, and I appreciate all the fun it provides. If you are new to my blog, welcome! You can check out my other work here on my blog or on my instagram, I also have a facebook page too!

MFT Camp Create:: Day 5 and Bonfire
Day 5, Glitzy Glitter, of the MFT Camp Create was a challenge for me! I kind of don't care for glitter and how it gets everywhere, but it was still fun to come up with a CAS idea using it.
I started with a white card base with the bottom corners rounded. I die cut the large word from Twice the Hugs right on the front card, and stamped the sentiment from Lots of Hugs. I used a die cut from another company (Sugar Pea Designs) with glitter paper to finish off the card.
And this is my last card for the MFT Camp Create, for the Bonfire, to dry emboss.
I dry embossed the Starry Circle Die-namic onto a white square card base, and adhered the panel to a dark purple panel and purple cardbase. I then added some Wink of Stella to the stars and silver Nuvo Drops to the dots. I finished the card with a stamped image and sentiment from Snuggle Bunnies.

MFT Camp Create:: Days 3 and 4
It was a lot of fun to spend time creating this past weekend, and earning more badges for MFT's Camp Create. I've earned my Spectacular Shaker Badge with this card.
I started by creating my shaker with the outside perimeter of the Starry Circle Die and added some cute, cuddly critters from Snuggle Bunnies and a sentiment from More Essential Sentiments. I love the end result, such a fun birthday card, or even a congratulations card.
Day 4's card brings a fun puppy that walks across the grass for the Sensational Sliders!
For this card, I die cut some grass with the Grassy Hills Die-Namics, a fence from Frightful Fence, and clouds from Seaside Seagulls. The dog was fussy cut from Top Dog and adhered to a piece that slides out from the grass, stamped with a sentiment. It makes the dog prance across the card when you pull the piece.
I have a few more cards to showcase tomorrow, to complete all my badges, thanks for stopping by!

MFT Camp Create:: Days 1 and 2
I had some free time on Sunday where there were no baseball games and no pressing gardening chores, so I spent the morning working on some cards for the MFT Camp Create. This first card earns me the Wonderful Watercolor Badge.
I created the rainbow galaxy background following the advice from Stephanie from MFT and teamed it up with the cute Space Explorer stamp set.
This next masculine card is for the second day of camp, Remarkable Resist.
I started by white heat embossing the cacti images from Llama Love onto watercolor paper and then did a watercolor was of greens and browns. I then splattered the background with some dark green, added a colored, die cut llama and funny/punny sentiment.

My final project for the June Release features the amazing, beautiful Jar of Flowers Stamp Set and Jar of Flowers Dies, along with the new cover up plate, Quilted Stitched Basket Weave Cover Up Die. These were a match made in heaven! I was really on a kraft kick for this release, so this card also started out with a kraft card base that was embossed with the Quilted Stitched Basket Weave Cover Up Die. I then stamped the jar from Jar of Flowers onto white paper, die cut it with the Jar of Flowers and added a coat of glossy accents, allowing it to dry thoroughly. I then stamped and die cut various flowers and greenery from the set, adding glossy accents to the centers. After everything dried, I made a sweet lil' arrangement in the center of the card and finished with a stamped banner (sentiment from Jar of Flowers and the wreath was die cut from previously released

LID:: June 2017 Release:: Day 2
Welcome to the second day of the Lil' Inker Designs June 2017 Release Showcase...full of innovative, fun and beautiful items! Once again, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring new stamps and dies that'll make you swoon! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jessica's Blog! (Visit the Lil' Inker Design's Blog for the full link up.)
My first project features some of my favorite products from this release, the beautiful Blossoms and Banners Stamp Set, the coordinating Blossoms and Banners Dies. I paired these two with some older products,...the classic Quilted Stitched Pattern Cover Up Die and Stitched Mats: Long & Skinny Rectangles.
I started by embossing the front of a kraft card base with the Quilted Stitched Pattern Cover Up Die and ran a piece of pink cardstock through as well using a piece from Stitched Mats: Long & Skinny Rectangles. Then came the beautiful focal point! I stamped one of the banners from Blossoms and Banners Stamp Set, and die cut it with the coordinating Blossoms and Banners Dies. Then I stamped the sentiment, also from Blossoms and Banners Stamp Set, and then stamped some of the flowers on various shades of pink cardstock and fussy cut them to attach as highlights to the banner image. What an easy to create card that is so beautiful (in my humble opinion.)
I was really loving the way pink looked on kraft, so I used the same palette for this card. First, I die cut a kraft panel with the Dual Dotted Rectangle Dies and adhered it to a white card panel. Then, with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink I stamped a custom sentiment from the new Lovely And Sweet Stamps. What a quick and easy way to create a focal point! I added a few hints of black, and white as well to finish the card off.
Here's a look at the new release products showcased in my two projects today:

LID:: June 2017 Release:: Day 1
My first project features the super cute, super fun I'll Be Brief Stamps and I'll Be Brief Dies. I just adore the three critters in this stamp set, as well as the stand alone undergarments. Perfect for the person that appreciates humor. I started the above card with a pale green card base. I had die cut the new, awesome, FREE with qualifying purchase (see below for specific details) Diamond Chevron Cover-Up Die from white cardstock to layer on top. For something a bit different, I cut it smaller than the card front, but this cover plate is designed to well, cover a whole card front! I then die cut out of black cardstock an oldie, but good, LID item called Instant Camera Die. For the sentiment, I die cut the word "hi" with light green paper using the bold Hi Word Die. The corresponding sentiments were stamped with the I'll Be Brief Stamps. To finish the card, I stamped and die cut the adorable crocodile from I'll Be Brief Stamps wearing some briefs with dark green paper, and paper pieced his briefs with white paper.
Whoops Stamp Set and its coordinating Whoops Word Die is another super fun and witty stamp and die set from this release. For this card, I started by painting some reactive paint onto hot pink cardstock and foiling it in silver. I die cut and stacked the Whoops from black cardstock and added glossy accents on top for a nice shine.
I finished the card with one of the many fun sentiments from the Whoops Stamp Set,
some black enamal dots, and a strip of silver washi on top!

Where Creativity Meets C9:: Challenge 10:: Layers
There's a new Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge and it's all about creating a layered project showcasing the amazing products available at Concord & 9th as this challenge is dedicated to the innovative stamp company and their products!
There are so many beautiful stamp sets available at Concord & 9th. I chose to work with the absolutely gorgeous Many Mandalas for its unique properties to make your own Mandala by ink layering the pieces of the mandala.
I started with a beige colored pigment ink stamping the outside layers of the mandalas, then added a layer of the next interior size with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink, and then repeated the steps until the mandalas were completed. I then added a touch of water to distress the mandalas, as well as some splatter of Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink. I finished with a sentiment from the Many Mandalas Stamp Set. I adore the mix of fonts! I finished the card with a layer of clear sequins and some jute twine.
