LID:: Flashback Friday:: Masculine Cards
I thought it would be super fun to create some masculine cards featuring awesome Lil' Inker Design products for the Flashback Friday! If you are like me, masculine cards are a bit intimidating, and I really don't have too many products that are meant for men. But...today I have a remedy! I've used the Bow Die Mini and Spring Flowers Die Set, along with the Snarky Sentiments Stamp Set to create a set of masculine cards. Please have a look over on the Lil' Inker Designs Blog for the full post!
The majority of items I used on my TWO projects today are on SALE through September 29th. Each item is 15% off through this time or while supplies last. No code is needed. Just add them to your cart!!
Here's a listing of products that I've used on my projects today that YOU can add to your collection today at a discount:
Here's the Scoop
Isn't that a big bowl full of yummy?!

All month long, Concord & 9th is celebrating their second birthday, and lucky me,
I get to help them celebrate!
Today I'm featuring the ever so clever Here's the Scoop Stamp Set and Here's the Scoop Dies.
I think this card is so much fun, and it was super easy to put together with the genius stamp and dies from Concord & 9th! Also, so very relaxing to color as well. I started by stamping the ice cream in a bowl, a line of fudge, and a cherry onto white cardstock and then colored with copics. Then I die cut them out, along with a stamped sentiment banner, also from Here's the Scoop Stamp Set and Here's the Scoop Dies. Before adhering each to a light mint card base, I stamped one of the fun, large sentiments from ere's the Scoop Stamp Set. The banner and the cherry were affixed with dimensional adhesive. I can already tell this set is going to be so much fun exploring different coloring mediums, and will be perfect for all genders and ages!

It's such a magnificent day to have a birthday!
The one man I admire most in my life has a birthday today. Happy Birthday Dad!

Today I have used the their new, super fun Happy Balloons Bundle. I first started by stamping the large balloon from the Happy Balloons Stamp Set twice in bold colors onto stark white cardstock, and added a bit of detail with a coordinating stamp to the top of the balloons in a darker shade. I then added more smaller balloons in more bold colors. I simply adore the how the colors overlapped! I added a string with the string stamp and finished the card with a three-dimensional die cut banner from the Happy Balloons Dies and a sentiment from the Happy Balloons Stamp Set.

Sprinkles
Nothing says "birthday" like sprinkles on a cake or cupcake!
Concord & 9th is continuing their celebration of two years in business and I get to join along in the showcase of their new stamps! Today I have used the their new, innovative Sprinkles Turnabout Stamp. (Seriously, these types of stamps are so cool, there is a whole line of them!) I started with a white cardstock panel and stamped the sprinkles four times...three with orange, pink and peach ink colors, turning the stamp each time, and the last with clear embossing ink and I heat embossed them.
I then added the panel to a cardstock base, trimmed with some washi tape and I finished the card with some utterly adorable cupcakes stamped with the Sprinkles Turnabout Stamp Set and die cut with the new Sprinkles Tags Die Set.

Concord & 9th's 2nd Birthday Celebration!
This is so exciting! Concord & 9th is celebrating two years in business and they have a fabulous release! I'm so excited to be participating with my Where Creativity Meets C9 teammates and Concord & 9th by showcasing their new August products.
To help celebrate, the Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge has an Anything Goes Challenge this month, where you can join in and help celebrate the goodness of what Concord & 9th is all about.
I went all glam with this awesome new stamp set called Seriously, Thank You (which is a fantastic 3x4 stamp set with 7 powerful images. You can earn this set for free in the month of August with a $60 or more purchase over at Concord & 9th). I heat embossed the main sentiment and add some black details. This panel was framed with black and then all adhered to a kraft card base that was embossed stamped with one of the smaller images in the set to frame the panel.
I hope you can join in on the Anything Goes Challenge!

LID:: August 2017 Release:: Day 3
Welcome to the last day of the Lil' Inker Designs August 2017 Release Showcase...full of innovative, fun and beautiful items! Once again, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring new stamps and dies that'll make you swoon! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jessica's Blog! (Visit the Lil' Inker Design's Blog for the full link up.)
These little dinos are too cute! I started my scene by inking some clouds onto a cardstock panel, and then creating some ground with the really cool Deco Edge Border Dies. (This die mimics the look of torn paper edges, but it takes all the guess work and mess-ups out for you!) I inked the edges and adhered them to my cloud base. Both had some Nuvo Mousse rubbed over them to age them a bit too.
I then got to stamp the cute dino, cloud and palm tree from the Hello Dino Stamp Set and die cut them from the Hello Dino Dies. I finished the card with a cute and punny sentiment from the Hello Dino Stamp Set. Very simple two step stamping makes from such cute scenes!
My final card is a shaker card featuring the super fun Cover Up Die: Hello Beautiful. I die cut it from a white cardstock panel, bordered each of the die cut squares with foam tape and filled them with a rainbow of sequins. I finished with a die cut sentiment from the previously released Thanks Word Die.
Here's a look at the new release products showcased in my two projects today:

LID:: August 2017 Release:: Day 2
Welcome to the second day of the Lil' Inker Designs August 2017 Release Showcase...full of innovative, fun and beautiful items! Once again, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring new stamps and dies that'll make you swoon! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jessica's Blog! (Visit the Lil' Inker Design's Blog for the full link up.)
My first project features some of my favorite products from this release, the beautiful Encouraging Words Stamp Set, coordinating Encouraging Words Die Set (designed by the talented Angelica Suarez) and Fringe Scalloped Tag Dies. I began this card by embossing a white card base with a previously released item, Quilted Stitched So Sunny Die, then die cutting two tags, one in black and one in hot pink, from the Fringe Scalloped Tag Dies. I stamped a sentiment from the Encouraging Words Stamp Set onto the pink tag, and adhered them to the card base with some washi tape.
I then added details by stamping some florals and laurels from the Encouraging Words Stamp Set onto textured black paper with black ink, and die cutting them with the Encouraging Words Die Set, then colored with PrismaColor pencils.
This next card is bold and fun too, as it features the fantastically fun Eat Cake Stamp Set and coordinating Eat Cake Dies! This card was really simple to make, but I think it packs a big punch and would be so easily customizable with the recipient's favorite color, or makes for a great masculine card too! I stared with a colored card base, and die cut four cakes out from the Eat Cake Dies in a lighter hue. These were adhered to the card base and a scalloped detail was added from the previously released Fanfare Scalloped Border Die. I finished the card with another die cut from Eat Cake Dies and an embossed sentiment from the Eat Cake Stamp Set.
