Ex Libris

Catherine Pooler Designs has a new collection releasing soon! The Ex Libris Collection will transport you to another place and time, like reading a good book. This Collection was inspired by the peaceful feels and decorative details found in a library.  Victorian inspired flourishes, inspirational literary quotes, and dried book-pressed flowers all from a sunny corner filled with the songs of canaries- this collection is cozy and classic.  Gardener's Treasures Bundle features dried plant stamps that would be displayed in a collection of earth-tone glass jars. In the Parlor Bundle features a sweet line-art set with ornate bird cages and, of course, birds.  This collection also introduces the first four of our Apothecary Ink colors.  

I was able to work with the absolutely stunning Gardener's Treasures Bundle and the four new inks: Terracotta, Ginger, Apricot and Wintergreen.

I started with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base and then adhered a panel die cut with Scallop & Dots Dies from the new Gardener's Notebook Patterned Paper Pack. I created a bouquet by stamping images from the Dried Treasures Stamp Set and die cut with the Dried Treasures Dies. I wrapped the stems with some thin twine and then finished the card with a sentiment from Dried Treasures stamped in Ginger.

The Ex Libris Collection and new inks will be available Tuesday, April 5th for StampNation members and general release on Wednesday, April 6th.

Spa Inks: Apothecary Collection

It's an exciting day as Catherine Pooler Designs is adding to the Spa Collection of inks with four new colors in the Apothecary Collection: Terracotta, Ginger, Apricot and Wintergreen...and let me tell you, they are absolutely beautiful! They compliment and fill in gaps of the Spa Collection so well. They will be available Tuesday, April 5th for StampNation members and general release on Wednesday, April 6th.

The above card features Terracotta. It's a Red Orange based color that fits in the color wheel with Clay Mask and Polished. It's lighter than Cranberry Fizz and more orange than Rouge.

This card features Ginger. 

Ginger falls in the orange color family, especially coinciding with Orange Peel and Mandarin Spice. I've showcased Sauna, Ginger, Icing on the Cake, Flame and Mandarin Spice for the little bulldogs.

The next newest color is the beautiful, neutral Apricot.

Apricot is also part of the orange family, lighter than Ginger, Orange Peel and Mandarin Spice. I've paired Apricot with several orange-y and reddish colors on the above card, including Polished, Bellini, Orange Peel, Ginger, Flame and Rouge.

Wintergreen is the last of the four colors being released. It is a beautiful, pale green blue color. It fits on the color wheel with Seafoam, Sea Glass  and Bay Breeze.

The above card showcases how Wintergreen pairs with Bay Breeze, Seafoam, Hot Tub, Sea Glass and Minted.

These colors are soooooo beautiful and fit in with all the other colors so well! The stamps and dies I've used in my above cards are listed below.
