Catherine Pooler Designs:: Holly Jolly Collection

Catherine Pooler Designs has a new collection releasing soon! The Holly Jolly Christmas Collection is a carefully curated a collection around four different main image stamp set themes and dies and accessories to make all your Christmas card making wishes come true.

I was so excited to create with the extra cute Christmas Critters Bundle! This bundle includes the Naughty List Stamp Set, corresponding Naughty List Dies, Tree Trimming Die, and Wrapped Patterned Paper. I also got to work with the Holiday One Liners Sentiment Stamp Set.

These kittens are up to no good! I started by stamping them with Lime Rickey ink onto an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock panel that was die cut from the Scallops and Dots Dies. I colored in the lights with a few Copic Markers and filled in some areas with Lemongrass Ink stamped in a series of dots from Fall Finds. I mounted the panel onto a mat of Wrapped Patterned Paper and then a card base. To finish the card, I stamped a few sentiments from Holiday One Liners Sentiment Stamp Set onto banners die cut from Sentiment Banner Dies covered in Whipped Honey.

Squirrely Hello

Catherine Pooler has weekly card challenges over at StampNation! I'm the host this week. 

This challenge is to create a project for all things fall! Leaves, pumpkin spice, thanksgiving, anything fall related!

My card today features a set from Catherine Pooler Designs newest release, All Things Fall, (of course!) paired with an older set, the Critter Crew Stamp Set.

I really like how the solid images stamped sporadically to create a background paired with the line drawings of the squirrel and the acorn.

A Green Chair

I wanted a card for a co-worker to help cheer her up and let her know she is doing a great job. She does a lot for us! I work in the mental health industry, so it seemed fitting to include a nice, cozy armchair as most of the offices have one of them.

This clean and simple card wasn't without it's hurdles. I stamped the shutters on the opposite side of the card, they were supposed to be on the bottom! But I rolled with it and added the sentiment on the top instead.

Four Square

My son's high school football games started last night...that means that fall can officially arrive! I've been having fun creating with Catherine Pooler Designs' release, All Things Fall.

Today's card uses some strategic "leftover" pieces from Criss Cross Applesauce Cover Plate Die as backgrounds to the fun images stamped and die cut from the Fall Finds Stamp Set and Fall Finds Dies. 

And of course I used some of the newest colors too! 

I finished the card with the All in One Thank You Word Die cut from Ultra Smooth Cardstock, I just love the look of white on white.

Simplistic Sympathy

Spellbinders is celebrating Christmas in July with the release of their Celebrate the Season release! I had the great pleasure to play with some products from this beautiful collection. I decided to use the supplies for a card outside of Christmas-they are so versatile and beautiful!

My card today features the Stylish Merry Christmas Etched Dies. Sympathy cards are always requested of me, and I never seem to have enough on hand. The beautiful dies from this set were a perfect choice to use for a sympathy card because of their simplicity. I die cut a few with white cardstock and arranged them onto a solid lilac card base. I finished the card with an old Papertrey Ink sentiment.
