Oh, Hello

This Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Celebration is epic, and the sets they've released in collaboration with some amazing companies is just as epic. Today I have the honor of showcasing the Simon Says Stamp and Concord & 9th Collaboration called Oh Hello.

I'm in awe with the way these stamps to mimic actual brushstrokes. I asked my oldest son what he would make with this set, as the possibilities are really limitless, and he said "balloons." Ok, I can make that work!

I started by stamping the dot in the set six different times in various shades of pink/purple and added some straight marker lines and little ties on the balloons. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Oh Hello set and finished it with a previously released Concord & 9th set.

This one layer card would be super cute as a set of different colored balloons featured on each card, or customized to the recipient's favorite color. It would be super easy to recreate for a beginner stamper as well, and very economical as it is only one layer.

Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge:: Ink Only

There's a new Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge and it's all about creating a project showcasing ink only and the amazing products available at Concord & 9th as this challenge is dedicated to the innovative stamp company and their products! 

There are so many beautiful stamp sets available at Concord & 9th that are great for this challenge, I chose to feature the gorgeous Brushed Blossoms.

I started with a white cardstock panel where I masked off a portion of the left hand side. I stamped a series of rings with the Tree Ring Stamp Set in a warm grey ink, and then a small strip that was inked solid. Then, I added a collage of blossoms from Brushed Blossoms with shades of orange with grey leaves. I saw this card from Michelle and was totally inspired by her beautiful color combination!

The challenge is sponsored by the fabulous Concord & 9th and one lucky random entry will receive a $25 gift certificate for a Concord & 9th shopping spree. Fractile Leaves

I absolutely love when the weather gets cooler, and fall is in full swing. Watching my boys play football or run cross-country, while sipping hot coffee and being bundled up in sweatshirts. Love!

I also love when the leaves begin to turn as well.

This Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Celebration set called Fractile Leaves is a perfect representation of Fall! I used a watercolor card base, some gold embossing and color bursts to create my card today. I rather enjoy the "strict" design lines of the trio of leaves with the randomness of the watercolor and droplets.

I finished with a heat embossed sentiment from Right at Home.

I really enjoy the excitement that STAMPtember brings to the crafty community, just like I enjoy what fall brings! I'm entering this into their Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

Pineapple Perfection

Ok, so... I think I've discovered my new, most favorite stamp set! Pineapple Perfection from oncord & 9th is exactly that, perfection!

Concord & 9th celebrated their second birthday in August, and the fun continues to this first week of September, there were so many new goodies to share!

Today I'm featuring the ever so clever and beautiful Pineapple Perfection Stamp Set and Pineapple Perfection Dies. My card was super easy to put together with these genius stamp and dies from Concord & 9th! I went retro...retro colors, retro design. I started by inking up the solid crown of the pineapple with shades of green, then stamped the outline image, and filled in the elements with the coordinating solid stamps. Everything is so perfectly aligned and set up so easy for stamping in this set! I then die cut it, wrapped it with some twine and adhered it to a card base that had been decorated rectangles of patterned paper. I finished with a sentiment and die cut banner!

All month long, Concord & 9th is celebrating their second birthday, and lucky me,

I get to help them celebrate!

Today I'm featuring the ever so clever Here's the Scoop Stamp Set and Here's the Scoop Dies.

I think this card is so much fun, and it was super easy to put together with the genius stamp and dies from Concord & 9th! Also, so very relaxing to color as well. I started by stamping the ice cream in a bowl, a line of fudge, and a cherry onto white cardstock and then colored with copics. Then I die cut them out, along with a stamped sentiment banner, also from Here's the Scoop Stamp Set and Here's the Scoop Dies. Before adhering each to a light mint card base, I stamped one of the fun, large sentiments from ere's the Scoop Stamp Set. The banner and the cherry were affixed with dimensional adhesive. I can already tell this set is going to be so much fun exploring different coloring mediums, and will be perfect for all genders and ages!

Happy Balloons

It's such a magnificent day to have a birthday!
The one man I admire most in my life has a birthday today. Happy Birthday Dad!

All month long, Concord & 9th is celebrating their second birthday, and lucky me,
I get to help them celebrate!

Today I have used the their new, super fun Happy Balloons Bundle. I first started by stamping the large balloon from the Happy Balloons Stamp Set twice in bold colors onto stark white cardstock, and added a bit of detail with a coordinating stamp to the top of the balloons in a darker shade. I then added more smaller balloons in more bold colors. I simply adore the how the colors overlapped! I added a string with the string stamp and finished the card with a three-dimensional die cut banner from the Happy Balloons Dies and a sentiment from the Happy Balloons Stamp Set.

I think this card is so much fun, and it was super easy to put together with the genius stamp and dies from Concord & 9th!

Sprinkles

Nothing says "birthday" like sprinkles on a cake or cupcake! 

Concord & 9th is continuing their celebration of two years in business and I get to join along in the showcase of their new stamps! Today I have used the their new, innovative Sprinkles Turnabout Stamp. (Seriously, these types of stamps are so cool, there is a whole line of them!) I started with a white cardstock panel and stamped the sprinkles four times...three with orange, pink and peach ink colors, turning the stamp each time, and the last with clear embossing ink and I heat embossed them. 

I then added the panel to a cardstock base, trimmed with some washi tape and I finished the card with some utterly adorable cupcakes stamped with the Sprinkles Turnabout Stamp Set and die cut with the new Sprinkles Tags Die Set.

Concord & 9th's 2nd Birthday Celebration!

This is so exciting! Concord & 9th is celebrating two years in business and they have a fabulous release! I'm so excited to be participating with my Where Creativity Meets C9 teammates and Concord & 9th by showcasing their new August products.

I went all glam with this awesome new stamp set called Seriously, Thank You (which is a fantastic 3x4 stamp set with 7 powerful images. You can earn this set for free in the month of August with a $60 or more purchase over at Concord & 9th). I heat embossed the main sentiment and add some black details. This panel was framed with black and then all adhered to a kraft card base that was embossed stamped with one of the smaller images in the set to frame the panel.
