Global Notecard Ensemble

Catherine Pooler Designs released their newest collection Global Adventure, yesterday. I was able to work with products from the Eastern European Bundle, which features the super fun Russian Doll set.

The Russian Dolls from the We Fit Stamp Set are perfect for so many techniques. I went simple with mine, stamping in Midnight Ink onto Ultra Smooth White Cardstock and die cutting with the coordinating dies. I then paper pieced the bow with the Across the Globe Patterned Paper. The doll was mounted to another pattern from Across the Globe Patterned Paper, and then used the Notecard Layer Dies and then mounted the panel onto a small card base. I also added a sentiment from We Fit Stamp Set onto a panel that was covered with Martini ink.

 To complete the ensemble, I created a coordinating custom envelope from the Notecard Envelope Dies.

How absolutely cute and petite is this card ensemble?! If you were on the fence about the new Notecard products, go for it! The size is just perfect, and I love that I can use my 6x6 papers to create custom envelopes.

Global Adventure Release

Catherine Pooler Designs takes us on an adventure with the newest collection, Global Adventure! "The Global Adventure Collection is inspired by the cultures and traditions of Africa and Eastern Europe. From the wildlife you find on Safari to the street markets of Eastern Europe– take a trip with us in exploring the globe! This collection features the rich jewel tone colors of the Luxe Inks which work with the collection beautifully."

The release is available now!

This collection has two bundles, and one extras bundle. I am featuring the Eastern European Bundle for my projects for this release. The dolls from the We Fit Stamp Set are so fun to create with. (There are coordinating dies too!) Onto an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base, I used the back of the cat doll stamp to stamp out dolls in the following colors: Bellini, Limoncello, Melon Ice, Mint to Be, It's a Boy and Be Mine. Then I stamped the right side of the stamp over the solid images in the following colors:  Flame, Glitz, Martini, Uptown, Dress Blues and Glam. I finished the card with a stamped sentiment from Thoughtful Phrases that was spaced out to allow the word "oh" from the Oh Happy Days Word Dies.

The release will be available today, October 12th for Stamp Nation Members and tomorrow, Wednesday, October 13th at 9amEST for general ordering.

This collection has two bundles, and one extras bundle. I am featuring the Eastern European Bundle for my projects for this release. The dolls from the We Fit Stamp Set are so fun to create with. (There are coordinating dies too!) The first thing I did was create a mask for each of the girl dolls from We Fit. Then, onto a Ultra Smooth White Cardstock panel, I stamped a series of masked dolls using the new inks from the Luxe Inks.

I mounted the panel onto a White Cardstock bordered by two black cardstock strips, and finished with a die cut sentiment from Oh Happy Days Word Dies and a previously released, now retired, stamp set.
