Chatterin' Beaks

Birds are flyin' south for winter. Here's the Weird-Bird headin' north,
Wings a-flappin', beak a-chatterin', cold head bobbin' back 'n' forth.
He says, "It's not that I like ice or freezin' winds and snowy ground.
It's just sometimes it's kind of nice to be the only bird in town."
~Shel Silverstein

Today marks a fabulous new sketch challenge at Skipping Stones Design. My take was very literal, as you can see! Please take a minute to check out the challenge and see all the other amazing creations from the design team and guest designers.

I also used the brilliant color combination from Play Date Cafe Challenge.

(A navy card base was cut to size with a pink panel slightly smaller. The pink was embossed and the edges inked. After adhering them to the card, I punched out green circles, stamped them with the text from Garden Stamp Kiss, inked the edges and adhered them to the card. The sentiment panel has a bird from Dandelion Dreams and a sentiment from Everyday Blessings stamped onto it.)
