Socks

**For my CAS-ual Fridays Challenge post, please scroll down or click here!**

Welcome to the first ever Lawnscaping Blog Hop-Holiday Projects! If you've arrived from Cristina's blog, you are right on track!

Since my boys get so much sweet treats from others at Valentine's Day, I thought it would be cute to give them something useful for the holiday, you know, like a pair of new, nice and clean pair of socks. Being the rough and tumble kind, my boys are always desperately in need of clothing and they will like this little surprise for sure.

This tag, of course, could be used for a general Valentine's treat too, sans the actual pair of socks! After double die cutting a sentiment stamped vanilla coaster, I sandwiched a line of knotted twine between the coaster and a piece of acetate to prevent the socks from flying away. From the twine I hung the pair of paper pieced socks from Lawn Fawn's My Silly Valentine stamp set and added glossy accents to the hearts. I thought it was a cute touch to attach the tag to your treat or gift with a mini clip and heart, making a reference to the clothes line.

Here are the details of the hop: Everyone will have until Sunday, September 11th at 11:59 EST to leave comments on all the stops in the hop to be eligible for a prize. Winners will be announced the following day over at the Lawnscaping Challenge. If you get mislead during the hop or simply want more details, head on over to the Lawnscaping blog for all the details!

Your next stop on the Lawnscaping Holiday Projects Blog Hop is Danielle P.!
