Rustic Tiles


Ready for some hopping today featuring the loveliest of all lovelies of stamp sets, Rustic Tiles! (Which also happens to be the featured Stamp Set of the Month over at Skipping Stones Design...) You should have arrived from Kandi's blog, or, if you need direction head on over Skipping Stones Design


I used the great sketch from the Skipping Stone Design's weekly sketch challenge and the fabulous colors offered up by The Play Date Cafe. I stamped the tiles three across and on the third selectively stamped only a partial image. In its' place I tied a bow with some fabulous orange ribbon from Creative Impressions, a button and twine.

  20. What a beautiful card, Karen! Love, love the bold graphic style to this. The black and white is so dramatic, and I adore that one pop of color with the orange. Lovely stamping, and what a COOL ribbon treatment. So unique and eye catching!

  21. It's difficult for me to visit all the PDCC participants, so I tend to pick out the ones that are striking, even in the thumbnail. That's your card! Wonderful black and white simplicity with that dimensional pop of orange! It's beautiful.
