May Arts:: Stampendous

What an exciting week this has turned up to be! May Arts and Stampendous have teamed up for a week long blog hop full of inspiration. Today is the second day of the Hop. You can find out yesterday's stops and more details (as well as your chance to win prizes!) over on the May Arts Blog.

My first card features the really cool Teal Mica Fragments from Stampendous, that have been glued to a panel and then the card base that has been stamped with a sentiment. I wrapped the card with a both made from two of my go-to May Arts Ribbon for cards- Burlap String in Natural (SM10) and 1.25" Silk Ribbon in Olive (SK16). I tucked in some stamped, fussy cut leaves from the Stampendous Stamp Set, Moray Dahlia.

Here's a close up:

Then I made a second card too! This features the Moray Dahlia Stamp Set as well, and is a blank card for any occasion:

After stamping the flowers, I colored them in lightly with markers, then added some Stampendous Melon Ultra Fine Pearl Glitter in their centers. I finished the card with a large bow made from May Arts 1.5" Sheer Ribbon in Teal (C04), and tucked in some of the popular May Arts Leaves in Olive (BY16).

I hope you enjoy the schedule hop stops this week! What a perfect pairing: May Arts and Stampendous!

  8. Left a comment on the wrong post. Now I'm in the right pew.
    The cards are great. The second is colored so well. I love the sticky adhesive for adhering glitter and flocking rather than having to use glue. Great idea. No more sticky fingers.
