These are Going in the Mail

It is not too often that I mail out cards I make myself, but the cards in this post are actually going to be mailed. I created a set of three cards like the above for the Lasting Hearts Card Drive. This drive speaks dearly to my heart, and I just wanted to help some families out.

I used the MISTI for these, stamping a white card panel with some florals and a sentiment from Avery Elle's Laurels Stamp Set.

Opting out of the two/three step stamping, I added some white dots on the solid portions of the light pink florals, having been inspired by Kathy's tip in her Day 6 Video for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I finished the card with a strip of May Arts Black Adhesive Scallop Trim.

With the remaining white panel (smaller in size) and the same supplies, I made a card to give to a friend, just because, inspired by the AEIHeartYou Challenge #33: Friendship. I bordered the panel with strips of washi tape.

This next card was created to send to the Cox Family, you can read about their story here. I was inspired to pull out most things sparkly for the A Blog Named Hero's Challenge: A Bit of Sparkle.

I clear embossed some florals from a retired Hero Art's set called So Sorry onto a cream cardstock panel. Then I added a sentiment and some gold foiled patterned paper. I adhered a cardboard butterfly to some glittery vanilla paper and wrapped the panel with May Arts Gold String.

I know this was a super long post...if you haven't already, please consider making some cards for these two great causes!
