Sympathy Peony

Ellen Hutson is mixing it up with Concord & 9th for the Ellen Hutson Mix It Up Challenge. Ooh, two of my favorite companies to work with!

I started by stamping the Concord & 9th Barnwood Background Stamp onto white cardstock, focusing more ink on the edges of the card. Then, I stamped and heat embossed the beautiful peony and leaves from Ellen Hutson's Mondo Peony. I colored them with distress ink and zigs, and adhered it to the cardstock base. I finished with a sentiment from Brushed Blossom. (affiliate links used)

And to top the card off, I stamped some dots and added some Nuvo Drops.

  1. Hi Karen, just popped over from Ellen Hutson's Mix It Up Challenge and had to tell you that I love your card entry. I'm just getting started with my blog and didn't enter a card yet but hope to by next month's challenge. Anyway, hugs for now from snowy/rainy New Hampshire...
