Let's Party Release:: A Quad of Cats

Hooray! It's time to party! The Let's Party Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs is available now! The card I'm showcasing today takes a bit of inspiration from Andy Warhol with the bright colors and repeating the same image.There are cat images included in the cute Peeking Pets Stamp Set from the Peeking Pets Bundle too! 

As usual, I started with a nice, smooth cardstock base made with Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. Onto it, I stamped in All that Jazz Ink the fun, previously released Doin' the Polka Background Stamp. First, though, I placed a post-it note in the center to mask off the area. In the masked area, I stamped the one of the cats from Peeking Pets in Be Mine Ink inside of where the mask was, rotating the stamp 45 degrees each time.

The final step of my card was to die cut the Instant Thanks Die, covering it with the ink to paper technique, using Lime Rickey Ink. The end result is a fun, bright card that just makes me smile and I hope that it would make the recipient smile too. The cats look so curious peeking through the frame. 

The addition of Pet Spec Dies, covered in another brightly colored ink, and affixed to each of the cats would have made a really fun addition to this card too. If you are worried about not stamping perfectly, using the Peeking Pets Dies for each of the cats for easy positioning would have worked really well too. I think this would be so much fun to do in other bright color combinations, or more subdued combinations as well, and use the different dogs and cats from Peeking Pets.
