Catherine Pooler Designs:: New Inks!

Catherine Pooler Designs is rounding out the Beach Collection of Inks with four new colors, and let me tell you, they are absolutely beautiful! They compliment and fill in gaps of the Spa Collection so well. Let me introduce Serene and Sparkling Berry. They will be available Wednesday, July 14th for general release and Tuesday, July 13th for Stamp Nation Members.

I decided to showcase the two new ink colors and how they compliment with the other colors. For the first card, I've featured Serene. Serene is a lovely light, muted blue violet color. I stamped the cute birds from the Lovely Birdies in Pink Champagne, Sweet Sixteen, Serenade, and Serene onto a card base made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. The outlines were stamped in Royal Treatment. I then blended the same color of inks behind each bird, and added some Tranquil ink for the sky. A bit of water was added for texture and then I drew some lines for wires and added a sentiment from Thoughtful Phrases. Sugared Lavender would have been a great comparison to show as well, but I seem to have misplaced that ink pad.

My next card showcases the new Sparkling Berry ink! This color is so lovely too, it is muted red-violet color. As usual, I started with an  Ultra Smooth White Cardstock in which a strip of glittered washi tape and a black strip was placed. I stamped a sentiment from Happy Birthday Many Ways in Midnight Ink and silver heat embossed the word beautiful from the Smile, Beautiful Sentiment Stamp Set. I then stamped and die cut the flowers from Whimsical Blooms Stamp and Die Set. I used Sparkling Berry, Be Mine, Rose Petals and Pucker Up for the main flowers, Pink Champagne for the stems, and Sangria for the details.

These colors are soooooo gorgeous!
