A Slew of Holiday Tags for Ellen Hutson's Challenge

I'm an active cardmaker, but I often struggle with creating and sending out handmade Christmas cards. Christmas tags, on the other hand, are different for me! They are little canvases that allow me to use sets that I don't often reach for. I've created a few tags for Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas Challenge-the challenge is based off of holiday songs!

For Day 1, Christmas in Coffee Shop, I used supplies from one of my most favorite ever companies, Lil' Inker Designs, that is sadly now out of business. I love this little coffee mug full of hot chocolate and topped with whip cream and a peppermint stick.

For Day 2-Puppy for Hanukkah-I again used stamps from Lil' Inker Designs. This cute puppy in a frame was stamped and colored with copics and a silver gel pen. I don't celebrate Hanukkah, so I went with the puppy and the blue tones.

The next tag is for Day 3-Feliz Navidad. I had to get a bit creative and be inspired by the translation of the song "wish you a Merry Christmas" so once again, I reach for my Lil' Inker Designs supplies. The image was colored with Zig Markers.

Skipping Day 4 for the moment and moving to Day 5, I’ll Be Home for Christmas was the song. I immediately thought of Catherine Pooler Designs Wrapped and Ready Stamp and dies. (affiliate links) The sentiment is from MFT's Itty Bitty Stamp Set.

I'll come back for Day 6 later, but For Day 7, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, I was inspired to use a fun Santa from Lil' Inker Designs Moody Santa Stamp Set, based him on a tag also from LID, and a sentiment from MFT's Itty Bitty Stamp Set.

My last tag for today was inspired for Day 8, Sleigh Ride. I stamped and die cut the sleigh, skates and mittens from Catherine Pooler Designs Oh What Fun Stamp Set and Dies (affiliate link) and colored them with Zig Markers. I finished with as sentiment and banner from MFT's Itty Bitty.

I had a lot of fun coming up with tags inspired by these songs. The samples provided by Ellen's designers and guests are truly amazing.
