Paper Lanterns for Global Adventures (Pt. Deux)

 Catherine Pooler Designs showcased items from their next release, Global Adventure Pt. Duex today which also includes the three revamped ink colors! This collection has inspiration from a variety of traditions and cultural celebrations. Early ordering is just around the corner for StampNation members on Tuesday, January 11th at noon EST and ordering to the general public goes live on Wednesday, January 12th at 9am EST.

I am excited to work with products from the Adventure in Asia Bundle. The rich patterns and floral prints, paired with paper art in the form of lanterns and origami, come together in this bundle.

 My card today starts with a background Skylight covered background (direct ink to paper technique) die cut from the Scallops & Dots Die, and mounted to an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock base. I then stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the new Lantern Festival Stamp Set. 

The focal point of this card is the fun, large lantern that I first die cut out of the Parasols & Pagodas Patterned Paper Pack and White Cardstock (covered with Lemongrass Ink)-to create additional details for the lantern. The lantern is from the new Paper Lantern Die.

What makes this card extra special is that the lantern was adhered to the card base with a wobbler so it moves and shakes!
