The Third Baby Thanks
I fallen in love with the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. This week's challenge was a website featuring tiles and here is my inspiration: http://www.xeniataler.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_14&products_id=24 I decided to go mod with this baby thank you card so I could give a nice sampling of different styles for Katy. I have also fallen in love with this Heidi Grace Thanks stamp set, which I found for only $1 at the Fiskars warehouse sale.
Another Baby Thanks
(I should mention that I haven't had a baby recently, but I'm making these cards for a co-worker's daughters shower gift...) This simple card was created for Katy with the Our Creative Corner Challenge (http://ourcreativecorner6.blogspot.com/)in mind. Their challenge this week was a color combo of Sage Shadow, Soft Suede (substituted with Kraft here), Blush Blossom and Handsome Hunter. I found this paper in my "stash" that seemed to work nicely and to bring in the dark green, I paper pierced and finished the faux stitching with a Handsome Hunter Marker. The "thanks" stamp is from Heidi Grace.
Baby Duck Thank You
It takes time to feel confident to get a blog up and going so I'm posting quite a bit tonight. I wish that I had the time to stamp this many cards in one night! This card was based on the Pals Paper Arts Challenge sketch this week found here: http://www.palspaperarts.com/ I started with around five versions of this card before I decided on this. The background panels are hand stamped with a pencil eraser and the Thank You Banner was actually cut from the middle of the two panels and repositioned. The duck is probably one of my oldest scrapbooking emellishments that I have, around seven or eight years old.
Owl Thank You
I had won a random drawing for Splitcoast Stamper's Inspiration Challenge and was sent this funny owl stamp in the mail. The colors are for the Color Throwdown Challenge #64 found here http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/ The colors were Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip (or black) and Sahara Sand.

I've Finally Made It
Well, here I am. Entering the blog world. Trying to work the kinks out while the littlest one sleeps and the husband and oldest are out coon hunting. Wish me luck, world!
