The Browns - Neutral Ink Collection

It's an exciting day as Catherine Pooler Designs is adding to the Neutral Collection of inks with five much needed colors! Buttercream, Spiced, Macchiato, Cargo and S'mores! These inks fill the void in the Catherine Pooler Designs neutral line, and will quickly become staple ink pads. They will be available Tuesday, August 2nd for StampNation members and general release on Wednesday, August 3rd, as part of the All Things Fall Collection.

My first card features Macchiato, Cargo and S'mores. Macchiato is a nice medium, soft brown. Cargois a greenish brown, and S'mores is a dark, blueish brown. Here's an image with the names of each color used listed.

These colors are perfect for masculine cards as well as feminine cards!

This next card features Buttercream and Spiced, and how well they look with other ink colors.

Buttercream is the softest yellow/creme color and is absolute dreamiest, and Spiced is a gorgeous red/brown color that compliments other reds and browns in each line perfectly.

These colors are soooooo beautiful and fit in with all the other colors so well! The stamps and dies I've used in my above cards are listed below.

Spellbinders Christmas in July Celebration

Spellbinders is celebrating Christmas in July with the release of their Celebrate the Season release! I had the great pleasure to play with some products from this beautiful collection. My holiday cards just upped their game with these amazing products.

My card today features the Stylish Merry Christmas Etched Dies. This is a two part die: the background and then the individual letters to create the greeting Merry Christmas in a very stylish, art deco font. I die cut letters only die from a textured green cardstock to create a see through effect. 

I then decorated the edges of the card front with beautiful blooms and bits die cut from white cardstock using the Holiday Blooms Etched Dies. There are so many pieces in this die set, you can create many different flower combinations, arrangements, wreaths, etc!

I love the illustration style of this little set! I stamped the cornucopia out in black and then colored with Copics. Using the coordinating die that will be available for purchase separately, I die the main image and coordinating smaller images out. Onto a petite card base, I swiped Apricot Ink using the direct ink to paper technique, which provided a background for the images.

I finished the card with one of two stamped sentiments included with this set.

Spellbinders:: Winter Garden

Spellbinders is celebrating Christmas in July with so many new and beautiful products! I got to work with some of the Winter Garden by Susan Tierney-Cockburn. I've got to say, I'm really getting a great start on my holiday cards!

My card today features the Helleborus (Christmase Rose) Etched Dies and the Winter Evergreen Foliage and Ladybugs Etched Dies. 

What a beautiful pairing! After die cutting each element from the dies in colored cardstock I inked the edges with corresponding chalk ink. Then arranged the rose on top of the greens. I finished with a sentiment from my stash.

You can really showcase winter scenes with the beautiful products from the  I'm excited to showcase more creations that I made with products from Spellbinders Winter Garden 

 collection, and they pair so nicely with the Celebrate the Season release too!

I then accentuated the greeting die with various floral and fauna die cut from the new Holiday Blooms Etched Dies in glitter paper as well. There are so many pieces in this die set, you can create many different flower combinations, arrangements, wreaths, etc!

I'm excited to showcase more creations that I made with products from Spellbinders  Celebrate the Season release-the products truly make for beautiful cards with minimal effort.

I started by stamping the Making Waves Background in Cummerbund Ink onto Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from Refuse to Sink and the bubbles from Ocean Chums.

I then die cut the anchor from Refuse to Sink Dies in various shades of blues and purples and black, then offset each of the dies slightly, I finished the card with a stamped and die cut rope from Refuse to Sink.
