Thinking of You
I tried another go for the Embellish Magazine Challenge to use brown, kraft and purple...with stripes. After my first card was done, I had challenged myself to see if I could create something masculine. Well, I tried this, and I tried that. And then I finally settled on this! I think it is, hmmm...gender neutral? I haven't ever really tried this kind of collage-y style or design before, and I really like it! And look--my stitching is straight! Quite the accomplishment for me. Some of the stripes were computer generated (brown) and some were with craft ink and the letter "i" (white) and the rest with thread (purple)! I also used some supplies that I won from Inkedx2-lots of fun.
Supplies Used: SU Kraft Cardstock, Purple Paper, SU Chocolate Chip Classic and White Craft Ink, SU Kind Thoughts and Headline Alphabet Stamp Sets and Bird (not sure what set), SU Linen Thread, SU ChitChat Rubons, Fiskars Scallop Border Punch, Button, Thread

ReplyDeletehi Karen!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting my blog :) I'm loving this card- i'm a huge fan of kraft and those stamps are great! :D
I most frequently shop at Michaels because that's the only crafting store in the remote area where I live. So all of my MS twine is from there! I have found my twine both on the clearance shelves and in the crafting section! Funny how it's called "bakers twine" but it's for crafting now, hehe. hope that helps!!
