The Card That...
The card that started with this and that and ended with that and this. The card that was supposed to be like this and ended like that. The card that threw me for a loop and then back again. The card that is soooooo not like the one in my head.
My inspiration started from the colors at The Play Date Cafe and inspiration at CASE Study Challenge, who have joined forces this week. I turned the card's sketch on its side and simplified it quite a bit.
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (Kraft) SU
Patterned Paper: (Measuring Up from The Material Girl Collection) Cosmo Cricket
Ink: (Antique Linen Distress) Ranger
Embellishments: (Stickers from Circa1934 Collection and Tiny Type Stickers) Cosmo Cricket, (Natural Burlap String) May Arts

ReplyDeleteLovely fresh colours and never mind, you got a great result! Many of my cards end up so differently to the idea I had at the start.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad you just went with it, even if it's not what you originally planned. I love the bold black frame and the gingham pattern. Great take on both challenges!
ReplyDeleteI like it, and look at you with that fun patterned paper.. I want more Cosmo Cricket paper! I've got a card in the wings for this challenge, thanks for letting me know that I can just simplify it, literal girl over here is trying to case things exactly.
