Filling Voids

(Featuring Retro Foundations, a stamp set designed by me for The Craft's Meow.)

I'm terrible at sending out cards that I make. It's not for lack of having cards on hand (because I have them coming out of my ears!), it's not for lack of wanting to send them out. I just don't seem to send them. Is this a common occurrence for other card makers as well?

(Featuring Typically Teen, a stamp set designed by me for The Craft's Meow.)

The Craft's Meow

One of my goals as a stamp illustrator for The Craft's Meow is to fill some of the voids out there as far as stamps go in this industry. I am truly blessed to be able to design for such a fabulous company! Today The Craft's Meow is releasing two sets I designed, the first is called Retro Foundations and it has some cool, funky background builders and really great belated birthday sentiments! I made the background on my card today using one of the background builders from the set. The other is called Typically Teen, again, this set has some really fun teen inspired background building elements and some trendy sentiments (which are also great for graduation and encouragement too!). I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do!
Once again, there's a full list of sneaks on The Craft's Meow Blog an links to the wonderful design team, including illustrators and our guests, the talented Annette Allen and Sharri Seffens. Please be sure to stop by The Craft's Meow Blog for more details too on how to win the sets being showcased today!

And guess what?! Typically Teen is May’s Gift with a $50 purchase from The Craft's Meow!

  1. Karen...you should be so proud of these sets! They look so easy to use, and mix and match for a really cool and colorful look! The cards I've seen so far are fantastic--looks like everyone has been inspired to really have fun with these! And I love this one of yours! Congratulations!

  2. These are fantastic cards - love that dp in the first one and the big sentiment. The colours and 'spatter' on the second one make it a perfect card for a teen - along with that very encouraging sentiment!

  6. Woo hoo on more fabulous Karen stamp sets, I'm confident you'll continue to impress us with all sorts of fun ways to use the sets. And you should accept that some day when you need the perfect card for something it'll be right where you left it, in the shoebox gathering dust, so don't stress about it. Or if you guilt is high donate some to a charity auctiom.

  8. I am terrible about sending cards myself. I have great intentions that never make their way into action.
Your cards are fabulous, and I'm so excited to see more of your new sets. I've been holding out on making my first order at TCM until the new release, and I'm not disappointed! Congrats on your new designs!

  12. Great ideas, Karen! Until my life was turned upside down by Steve, I RARELY sent any of the cards I made and yes, I had a huge stash! Our whirlwind romance - dates many nights each week, etc. left me no time to play in the scrap-room so I began using from the basket when I needed a card. Sure enough - by one year later, most of those cards are gone! New homes. I have photos of them . . . but I learned to let go. (I was very, very glad I had the basketful of cards!)
    Hugs!
