Ice Fishing
It's cold, so very cold, here in Wisconsin. What better way to beat the winter blues than to pull out a beautiful, spring stamp and ink it up? The boys, rather, are going ice fishing at the annual fisheree, I sometimes think they are crazy.
Later today the 49er's play the Ravens in the Super Bowl. Normally with any household in Wisconsin there would be some resentment seen as how the beloved Packers lost a couple weeks back to the 49ers, however, there will be some partying going on at my house. My husband has trained the little one to be an avid 49er's fan, just has he has been since he was a young buck.
I do have a general tip today, but please stop by The Craft's Meow Blog for more details...
Today's Tip: Selectively fussy cut around an stamped image from a collage stamp for a whole new look.
**So much spam lately, I've got to moderate my comments. Do you have this problem too? If you don't see your comment pop up right away, that's why! Hope it is only temporary.**

ReplyDeleteJust wondering if you got my email?
I hear you about using a cheerful spring stamp during the cold days! I feel for you in WI. Not so bad here in CT this week. Average about 25!

ReplyDeleteThis has me longing for warm weather Karen ~ so pretty! Brrr to the ice fishing and yes I've had spam the past couple of weeks. It's always on the same post from last year and it never really makes much sense. Also invites you to some kind of loan or credit web address.

ReplyDeletesuch a gorgeous flower! I've noticed other people have been getting spam like Simon Says Stamp and others.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Karen! I love your tips :)
ReplyDeleteI moderate my comments as well. I've even had to revert some older posts to drafts because the spammers seem to target one post over and over again...they must be searching for certain key words? Not sure, but it's annoying!
Ice Fishing? They are crazy... football, so not my cup of tea... lovely card. I want winter to return to California, please send the warm sunny days back to you and give me some SNOW!
ReplyDeleteIf I could send our warmer weather to you, I would! Your coloring of the flowers is beautiful. I was getting huge amounts of spam on certain posts so I changed my settings to only allow comments on posts within the last 30 days and that took care of the problem.

This is beautiful! And funny you say something and spam, just recently, I got a spam comment on my blog that I had to delete due it's inappropriate content. I am hoping it's an isolated experience!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card! :) And ice fishing?!! Oh, that has to be freezing!! Not sure I would stay alive, in that kind of cold?!! lol The plus for you, is you didn't have to go with them! :) Sorry to hear about the spam....I haven't had any issues (knock on wood). ;) Take care and thank you, for the tip!

ReplyDeletebeautiful coloring on the image. such a pretty card! i changed my comment to registered users and users with OpenID only. there were too many anonymous spams and i just got really tired of it. and that change has made a difference. hope it gets better for you!
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the spam comments. I started moderating mine almost from the beginning because the spammers were relentless.
ReplyDeleteI love the deep purple centers of the flowers on this image, and the watercolor effect on the leaves is so pretty!
