I always look forward to MFT's Summer School! I've got cards to showcase for days one and two.
Day 1 of 2020 MFT Summer School is the all about the Visual Triangle. I used a retired set called Sketched Florals, stamping the stems in a group of three and the flower tops in a group of three. I black heat embossed these and the sentiment, from Deepest Sympathy.
I then added a watercolor wash sky and watercolor green leaves and yellow flower tops, for another visual triangle.
Day 2 of MFT's Summer School is Rainbow. I started by creating a rainbow backdrop using Zigs and Tim Holtz Watercolor Paper. After that dried, I die cut the word Hugs from the retired Twice the Hugs Die-Namics,. The panel was adhered to a white card stock base.
I finished with a banner made from Fishtail Flag Frames and a white heat embossed sentiment from the retired Lots of Hugs Stamp Set from MFT.
MFT stamps remain some of my most coveted sets, therefore I have a lot of retired products, but I still love to break them out and play-the designs are classic!
You pass with flying colors Karen, A+! These are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteA very nice design for a sympathy card. Thanks for the lesson.
