Pinecone Season's Greetings

Catherine Pooler Designs newest collection, Nordic Woods is absolutely divine! Perfect for the holidays, or really versatile enough for year round. This collection has inspiration taken from the Swiss Alps or German Forests and folk art holiday markets. The patterns and images mix and match! The collection will be available tomorrow at 9am EST (early ordering for StampNation Members was today! Just one perk of being a SN member!)

The card I'm showcasing today features one of my favorite sets from Nordic Woods, the Pinecone Greetings Stamp Set and Pinecone Dies. They pair perfectly with items from my stash!

As usual, I started with a card base made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, I also die cut a frame from the previously released Chalkboard Frame Dies. Before adhering the elements to the card, I lightly drew a border from the chalkboard frame and inked directly onto the cardbase a background sky with Skylight. I then die cut pinecones and needles with the Pinecone Dies and then stamped the details of each with  Over Coffee sponged with Icing on the Cake for the pinecones, and then the pine needles were stamped in Eucalyptus-all from the Pinecone Greetings Stamp Set. I splattered some black paint and then adhered the elements onto the card. I finished the card with a bow made from Midnight Twine and a stamped sentiment from Pinecone Greetings Stamp Set.
