Catherine Pooler Designs:: New Luxe Inks!

 Catherine Pooler Designs is rounding out the Luxe Collection of Inks with new colors, and let me tell you, they are absolutely beautiful! They compliment and fill in gaps of the Party Collection so well with their deep, vibrant colors. Let me introduce Flame and Glitz. They will be available Tuesday, October 12th for StampNation members and general release on Wednesday, October 13th.

I decided to showcase the two new ink colors and how they compliment with the other colors. For the first card, I've featured Flame. Flame is a bold, deep saturated orange ink. Also, I love the transparency of the inks when layered like this. Onto an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, I stamped the bear from the Wild About You Stamp Set in an overlapping fashion so you could see the graduation of colors of inks, starting from left to right with Tiki Torch, Orange Twist, Tutti Fruiti, Mandarin Spice and finishing with Flame Ink. The card was finished with a stamped sentiment in Midnight Ink from Thoughtful Phrases.

My next card showcases the new Glitz ink! This color is a true deep, saturated yellow color. It does not lean towards green or orange, but a true yellow. I started with an Ultra Smooth White Cardstock with and ink blended and spritzed It's A Boy background. I then layered two black cardstock strips over the a portion of the Cleo Slimline Die and then layered stamped and die cut fish from Fly Daddy Stamp and Die set. I used Tiara, Chiffon, Glitz, Limoncello, Sauna and Catching Rays for comparison.

I finished the card with a stamped sentiment in Glitz, from the Happy Birthday Many Ways Stamp Set.

These colors are soooooo rich and saturated and fit in with all the other colors so well!
