In Focus/Out of Focus Flowers

I was so drawn to the in-focus, out of focus, bright flowers of the Altenew January 2022 Inspiration Challenge image, I wanted to try to recreate the image!

I used a variety of Catherine Pooler inks and outline and solid images from Altenew's Peony Bouquet, Remember This and Beautiful Day stamp sets to recreate the scene. I filled in blank areas with sponged ink. Then I cut the panel and adhered the two pieces to a cardstock base. I stamped the single sentiment from Bright Blossoms Stamp Set in the blank area.

I finished the card with a few white gel pen accents. The experimenting of layering inks and stamps was really very liberating and fun!
