Niches

She struggles with trying to find her niche, her true style. She dabbles in this, and in a bit of that. Happy with some results, and somewhat displeased with others. She's figuring out where she's going and appreciates all the kind gestures, comments and encouragement along the way...

I hope you have a chance to play along with the Limelight Sketch Challenge, with a twist: focus on using string/twine. Its so beautifully clean and simple, and utilizes one of my favorite tricks, a ribbon tab. Ok, ok, so I'm a bit guilty that my focus is the beautiful background paper, but I love burlap string as an embellishment to tie everything together. Upload your creations to Mandy's blog by Monday, (and check out the other design team's fabulous creations) for your chance to win one of design team member Lynn Miller's favorite items from the store... the Webster's Pages Vellum and Die Cut Kit.

Limelight has some amazing details on remaining inventory!

And, TiffanyDoodles has another sneak! Check this beauty out!

  8. What gorgeous paper - you have made it so warm and organic with the twine.

Are you talking about me? :>) I think we are all a work in progress. If I didn't change up my style I would be bored. I am still scared of some things though, like grunge and ink sprays. I picked up a Tim Holtz embossing folder yesterday and carried it thru the whole store, then decided no after asking myself what was I going to do with it - hmmmmm...
