Banners

Banners are quite the rage now in the crafting industry, but perhaps you are intimidated to make your own? It is so easy! I put together a graphic that shows a simple way to make your own custom banner that ends up {99%} perfect every time! (This is also featured over at Skipping Stones Design today!)

My card features the versatile Grunge set from Skipping Stones Design as well as the beautiful Always Here.

The radical color combination is from Kathy's Lily Pad Palette. I thought it would be fun to showcase the images and textures in some unusual colors! I used Lynn's sketch again from Retro Sketches! Great sketch, Lynn!

Did you see too, that May Arts has teamed up with Creative Imaginations this week? Hop on over to comment for your chance to win May Arts and Creative Imaginations products... I also showcased a gift basket!

  4. Karen, the card is once again beautiful, love the background stamp and that butterfly image.
Thanks for the tutorial on the banner. I do almost the same thing but I instead of the pencil mark I cut straight up the middle and then have the sides meet where that cut is. And I get perfect ones abouot 95% of the time.
