Calm and Gentle
"To be pleasant, gentle, calm and self-possessed: this is the basis of good taste and charm in a woman. No matter how amorous or passionate you may be, as long as you are straightforward and refrain from causing others embarrassment, no one will mind..." ~Murasaki Shikibu, The Diary of Lady Murasaki
CAS-ual Fridays Stamps is showing its softer side today with sneak peaks of Calm and Gentle, and I'll be straightforward: these stamps are a must have!
Today I did use the CAS-ual Fridays color combination, just in a softer tones. I stamped the trunks in brown/black onto patterned paper and then embossed the leaves with white, coloring in small areas to depict blooming flowers. I also lightly stamped more buds behind the embossing to create a fuller tree. This set has many beautiful, comforting sentiments, and I chose one that I will use often: I'm here for you.
