Nothing says spring and summer like some bees buzzing around! The Flutters and Blooms Release from Catherine Pooler Designs has this really cool background stamp, Beehive Background Stamp that provides the perfect backdrop for cards.
This card started with a base of Ultra Smooth White Cardstock, then I stamped the Beehive Background Stamp and white heat embossed it, adding color with an ink blended background of Sauna, Tiara and Orange Twist Inks.
Then to add a bit of detail, I selectively colored some of the images in with a black pen. I finished the card with a stacked sentiment made from the Happy Thanks Words Dies-which will quite possibly be my most used word dies coming up in the near future, they are the perfect size!
