Chevron Crackle Thanks Slimline

During my time off of work for the holidays, I decided to use up some scraps and discarded items that I've kept over the past year on cards. I loved this personal challenge, as it is hard for me to toss items that hold a lot of interest, or that I've already spent a lot of time on.

I had a live zoom tutorial on StampNation for World Card Making Day where I showcased how to manipulate the fantastic Nuvo Crackle Mousse with Catherine Pooler Designs inks. I had swatches of the Mousse colored with Hot Tub, Pink Champagne and then non-colored Mousse over tiles inked with Twilight Ink. With these swatched tiles, I cut them in strips and adhered them to a panel in a chevron pattern. The panel was adhered to a slimline card base made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock. I finished the card with a die cut from Happy Thanks Word Dies and a stamped sentiment A Note of Thanks Stamp Set from in Black Jack Ink.

The texture on this is absolutely outstanding and it was such a fun and quick project. Such satisfaction to be able to use swatches on a card so I didn't have to toss them.
