Spellbinders Birthday Celebration Event

What a pleasure it is to help Spellbinders celebrate their 20th Birthday with a Birthday Celebration Event! Spellbinders always has intricate and innovative designs, especially with their die cutting products. They also offer an exclusive line of hot foil items, stencils, stamps and paper too! A whole lot of other crafters are celebrating on their blogs too, featuring items from the Birthday Celebrations Collection.

I'm starting out with a cute card set featuring the Balloon Party Animal Etched Die Set, which I die cut from the Cheerful Occasion Paper Pad.

I added a few shadows with Copic Markers and highlights with a White Gel Pen to the balloon pup following the scored lines from the die. I finished the cards with a complimentary ink to the paper and stamps from Catherine Pooler Designs.

My next card features the really fun Surprise Box Etched Dies from Spellbinders. It was so super easy to create a realistic box with balloons popping out of it! This card also uses patterned paper from Cheerful Occasion Paper Pad, and stamps from Catherine Pooler Designs. The balloons, complete with a real string, are from an older Spellbinders set, the Shapeabilities Sunday Drive Etched Dies.
