LID:: October 2017 Release:: Day 1

Today is the first of three days of the Lil' Inker Designs October 2017 Release Showcase...Once again, we have a fabulous hop for you featuring new stamps and dies... It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas for this release! If you are following the hop, you should have arrived from the ever so talented Jessica's Blog! (Visit the Lil' Inker Design's Blog for the full link up.)

My first project features the the super elegant Festive Florals Stamp Set and coordinating Festive Florals Dies. This hand-drawn poinsettia set is all around gorgeous! I stamped the images in gold ink, then die cut them, and colored them in with Prisma Color pencils in a light pink shade. I just adore the light, airy color of pink poinsettias and had to replicate that for my card.

I added a sentiment from Festive Florals and some images stamped in gold onto white cardstock and then layered the colored flowers with dimensional adhesive.

I'm just head over heals for the stand alone die, Christmas Tree Word Die. For this tag, I colored some watercolor paper freely and loosely with greens and yellows, allowed the paper to dry and die cut it with the Christmas Tree Word Die. I finished with some gold glitter on the star, and some burlap string to tie to a present. I know my amazing teammates featured this die on cards, so it is extremely versatile for a tag or as a beautiful focal point on a card!

Here's a look at the new release products showcased in my two projects today:

It is with pleasure that I get to send you to the talented Lisa Henke's Blog as the next stop along the hop. I hope you get a chance to visit the Lil' Inker Design Store now as all the NEW OCTOBER 2017 RELEASE products are already up at the store!!

Don't forget to leave a unique comment along the each of the stops on the hop! Laura, the amazing owner, has decided to up the ante and graciously giveaway the ENTIRE release to one lucky commenter!
