A Krafty Car

I'm continuing to showcase cards I made with the This Christmas Collection from Catherine Pooler Designs, the newest release that features all things holiday. I thought it would be quite the challenge to color the car from the Urban Holiday Bundle Wrapped and Ready set in as many ways as I could. 

I stamped the car from the Wrapped and Ready Stamp Set with clear ink onto kraft paper and heat set with gold embossing powder. I then colored the image with water and various Catherine Pooler Inks. I learned from fellow Brand Ambassador, Melissa, that the Ranger Distress Ink Palette available in the shop makes for a perfect watercolor palette. You simply drop colors of ink into each well and rehydrate with water when you are ready to watercolor! I then die cut with the corresponding Wrapped and Ready Dies

I then die cut a frame from the Scallop & Dots Dies and covered the frame with embossing ink and gold embossing powder as well. I adhered the frame to a card base made from Ultra Smooth White Cardstock and added a sentiment from the  Near or Far Sentiment Stamp Set, also heat embossed.

The car was attached to the car using some dimensional adhesive, after splattering white paint to mimic snow. The end result is a card that is easily mass produced but adds the touch of homemade elegance.
